IN Dependence or Independence?

Living in Dependence. . Eighty years... It would be better to say, We, the Indians declared the FREEDOM at the intervening night 14th- 15 th August. Freedom for a political landscape essentially means Free Dominance of a Ruling class or a political system . The decisive powers attained through freedom defines the " Quality of Independence". Independence is the culmination of a political philosophy that provides a Nationalistic character, Public Order, Identity to the People by creating a form and system of Government, For the same reason, Every democratically drawn Constitutions begin with - " We, the People" The moment at which the Constitution gets adopted and the form of Government assumes office as per the laid down constitution, the People will theoreon become Citizens. That marks the beginning of the Independence of the Country or the Nation. The Government theon assures the people a systematic policy framework awarding the people with LIBERTY to become self sustaining constituents. Liberty awarded to the people by the State decides the quality of life and Right to live with dignity, identity, reinforcing the familial and societal bonding, cultural traits. LIBERTY, envisaged through the constitutional provisions and the Government policies and schemes decides the limitations and vastness of the space for each citizen to develop, grow and establish themselves as units of economy for the self and tmasca contributor to the country. Liberty is not free, but, guaratnteed through Rights conferred with restrictions and riders , the strings of which are in the hands oof the Government itself. The rights and guarantees assured through the constitution is not for a progressive sequential grant to the citizens. The Governments in power cannot project constraints and impediments in the creation of facilities and amenities.. The application of Policies should not be incremental with prospective vision of delivering goods and services during each tenure. The planning has to be futuristic, with provision to incorporate even the unborn. Every individual in a span of fifty years of Freedom, would have a self sustaining economy, organised way of life, social security and quality of life guaranteed by the Constitution. Without quality of life and livelihood, a Government cannot expect the citizens to have a sense of belonging. When the Government finds that on the call of any one , if thousands can throng to the streets to fight against the establishment and the Government machinery is bound to use force, the entire political systems till then in power had failed. If every successive Government inherits bundles of lapses, lags, liabilities and offensive perceptions, the Indepence of that country will remain thwarted. No accountable citizen who is disposed off with responsible share in the government will never throng to the steets to show the nuisance value. Power politics of the country , of raised on the Nuisance Value displayed through the violence in the alleys, the Governments so far in Power failed to create a Sense of Belonging and Ownership to the Country. The Governments failed to deliver Justice to the People.Democracy , thus would become reduced to an imperialkitistic archetecture of a different form. Justice is not what awarded through the Judiciary, instead, is components and share iof dividend of functioning and economic gains reaching every citizen.The increments of the economic programmes would be partnered and shared equally. The governments could not thionk outside the regime of Tax based economy and fiscal magemebt wch can make teh State a Self sustaining economy. It is not late. Why the country has to wait till 2047? Every country needs not more than 10 years to transform into a self sustaining economy. It requires a systemic change in the structuring and ordering of the Government and it's machinery into self correcting , tuning and realigning system. The period of Self sufficiency , projection on achievements in Infrastructure growth and equal growth are over. The Governments should turn to Self sustaining economy which do not swing with global trends and compulsions in global trade. When any country faces the pressures from another country and is forced to change the course of fiscal adjustments, that country cannot claim to be Independent, but only as a dependent country. Free ...but not Independent...
